Based on the excellent prices, service and support provided by the CT guys, specifically MiniMike, I'd like to challenge the JHB guys to step up their game, with a decent fanatics offer.
For example, recently, Mike ran a software special for R2999.
I don't want to mention any specific companies, but I have contacted a few sponsors already and other companies not on the forum. The going rate for the "non-forum/man on the street" for a software/chip upgrade seems to be in the range of R4k to R6k. There are guys doing it for less too, but let's say decent software with decent service is what we're aiming for and that can't be dirt cheap.
So come on JHB sponsors - put something together. And by special, don't do the "Oriental plaza" deal where you tell a forum member he gets a special price, when it's the normal frikken going rate.
So who can come close to or match Mikes offer??? I know you run businesses that need to maintain profitability levels, but the forum has become a viable channel for marketing many of your companies, so I don't believe I'm asking for the impossible here.
