Hi guys,

I'm not one to stir the pot but I sit here finding myself unusually frustrated at what I have just read.

http://www.autotrader.co.za/used-ca...make/bmw/model/1-series/caryearrangeszar/2013

I am not a fool so don't treat me like one. I am sure most people who are looking for a 135i will actually know what it came with as standard (in this case what most cars circa 2010 came with as standard). I find the extras listed such as "Automatic lock when driving away; VIN visible from exterior" to be absolute drivel :bin:

Why take up advertisement real estate with this??

It is quite true. One gets very annoyed when dealers list extras like 'automatic door lock when you press lock button'. But beieve it or not, there are people that need this info and dealers deal with these people on a daily basis. People have no idea that a car can auto lock, or that lights have an auto setting or where the car VIN is (they think its on the engine itself). People who get irritated with these self explanatory extras are called 'fanatics'.

To be fair they are just copy and pasting the results from ETK. I would rather have this info before I even have to speak to anyone.

More annoying is "full house". Does it have xenons? No. Navigation? No.
Well then it's not "full house"..... "But but but, it has power steering and electric windows"

they should rather use the words "standard features" and then list them for someone not familiar with the "standard features" on a particular vehicle
