 Great buy buddy, and in reasonable condition by the look of things. Definately stay with the Ford engine, I think it's a 302 Windsor, almost bulletproof. They cry out for a supercharger, and the mod parts are quite cheap, so many millions of them were built. You'll have to look into the suspension and brakes, but again, upgrade stuff is readily available. Enjoy the project, that V8 beat gets into the blood! :joy:

Congrats on the purchase man.
Love the sound of a V8. Stick with a the Ford, pull the motor, clean it all up and play from there. Get some cams! :blab:

With everything fitted that you posted above (bar the last item), you can expect around 250KW on the flywheel.

Be prepared to spend around R60k on these few items

And remember the LS diff!!! To prevent that two-block long one wheel spins.. Fairmont GT one should fall right into it.:thumbs:

Fetching it on Saterday (Tomorrow), will then take some more pics ect.. Will begin stripping it on the weekends.

My dad will also be back then, he used to build these motors with his eyes closed, so some guidance will be great.

Just need to figure out the logistics if everything, not sure where I will store all parts stripped :flyfun: Will most probably store most parts in the outside toilet & room
