(soon to be) First time BMW owner

Hey everyone,

So this is slightly different intro post as I don't actually own a BMW just yet, I am still searching for the right one.

Looking at a 2012 or 2013 f30 320d or 320i. In the alternative a well kept 2010 or so e90 335i.

Just wondering on some advice for what to look out for, what are the risks and whether going the e90 335i route is more likely to cause me endless hassle, than blissful torquey joy?

Been stalking around the forum a bit and this is really an awesome community, some of you guys have really sweet rides!raise:

Hi, well welcome to the forum so far.

Personally between the 320i and 320d I would take the 320d.

All depends on budget and what you want from your vehicle, 335i=power,320d=great fuel consumption.

I feel to be in the same boat.
E90 includes 335i 330i or 330d but then one can look at the 320i or 320d F30

Not sure what direction though...

Time will tell.

Welcome and good luck and your search. A little advise i can offer is not to buy the first car that looks good, do some research and take your time and you will find a gem at a great price! :coolShake:

Best move u will make

Stick to 320d if u concerned about consumption.. Go for the 335i if its power that you want
