Nice collection, was disappointed to find that version of A5 sunroof doesnt slide, it only tilts. There is a nice cream datsun like yours I see every morning here in Kuilsriver, drop nice and low, has bucket seats and the owner clearly likes to open up those carbs

thanks man, ja ive seen it parked at Brights Kuilsriver...Ja would be cool if it opens (like old webasto tilt and slides) but was still a must have for me as i like the look of it....also with that being said im not a fan of my moms mercs pana roof when its open to be honest ...im embarrassed to say ive never driven this Datto further than a km at a time...said i was gna fit a tracker etc first so now its just parked up.

thanks man...haha its been my worst car experience, mechatronic failure which burnt out clutches and stuffed gearbox. Audi wanted over R200k ...bought another box with clutches & mechatronic in great shape...they changed the box that year...i didn't know...box was sent to cape town from pretoria..didnt know my box wasn't good so switched over clutches & mechatronic...specialist loaded wrong software and damaged clutches....VagSpec Center sorted car properly i bought new clutches and another box from someone who bought another box with all the goodies because of his exact same failure but his box is fine....basically sorted now with new Box, Clutches, mechatronic and software and oils etc.

sounds like a nightmare, glad its all sorted. One of the reasons I got rid of the TDCI Focus, the powershift boxes on those are also prown to failure and a really costly fix.

i will say this...there was a time where i hated it...parked it and said f that piece of shit...now that its done...it drives lovely but it is a show stopper....after all these years it still turns heads...if someone got into 1 for cheap its a decent buy and punches way above its level...the ladies absolutely love it! Just got lovely plates made for it and S5 bumper is in for spraying with S5 carbon interior and a few touches coming soon. Quad exhaust also

I actually love the A5 even the Sportback just looks so good. Considered changing my car for a 2.0TDi at one stage but was worried about reliability.

no its the rear bumper for quad exhaust ....i must be honest i would only change my front bumper for the RS5 Rieger bumper im not a fan of teh shape of the S5 bumper...the front bottom of this bumper is sleeker and sharper

rounds out the front which is not to my liking...its why i prefer the Non M sport X5 front bumper with the spoiler as opposed to the M sport

ja im buying the chain kit and will probably be some bent valves lets see...my guy has done many and most times its ok just new valves and chain and sprocket etc ..
