Someone reversed into me!!!

Hi Guys, some very nice gentlemen who polity reversed into me today and decided that I got a good look at his number hence he did not have to stop and apologize, left me with a bumper that now sticks out. The cosmetic scratches I can fix on the back but what is worrying is the piece in the picture. Can one DIY this or must I take it to a panel shop?
Thanks guys

Their is a clip that holds that corner in place. AFAIK, they can be purchased from the agents.

Good luck!

At worst, you maybe damaged a bumper slide.

Have you tried just pushing it back in ?

Tried but don't want to push too hard, must I take off the bumper and try slide it in?

did you see this happen? i would have chased the faker...

I did, I got out the car, I was calm as these things do happen. I think when he saw me he got a bit scared, 124 kilo 6 foot oke. I really was calm.................ish. He then sped off, did not see his number plate but was a silver Audi a4. I had an important meeting to get to. In the end it is superficial damage.

I just need to know if I can fix it or I must take it to a panel shop...

Mate, seeing as that it is plastics clips that hold it in place, my advice to you would be to remove the bumper and refit it (slide) in place. My experience with plastic cosmetic clips being pushed a little too hard are normally disastrous! Sorry for the damage mate, but rather take your time and do it properly than just try and blindly push it back. If you have the means, take it to a panel shop is first prize, however if you have the knowledge, give it a go yourself.

:nonono::nonono::nonono: sorry again!!
