Hi guys so ive found this perfect 2013 135i DCT, basically still new with everything I want and more :joy:
Here comes my dreaded questions.
Mods.
How does one go with this? I know sw can be picked up at dealers but what if running JB4, proceede, cobb AP, etc. Are they still as safe as stated??
Also downpipe, I've seen many different sizes advertised, are there major differences between them? Was leaning towards the 4" one?
I don't mind converting back to stock every time she has to visit the dealer. Just would like to have some sort of assurance knowing my MP wouldn't be on the line.

Okay now for the final part, what is best? ITO performance, reliability and drive.
I'm pretty sold on the JB4 because I like the gauge hi jacking  anybody know which harness the 2013 135s use? (Eg. A or B )

All opinions welcome

Congrats :inlove:

Post some pix when you take possession of the car.

My suggestion would be to keep the car stock & enjoy her as is for a couple of years. All modifications to the car not approved by Bmw will affect your MP. No way around that.

  what if I find a friendly dealer and make them even more friendly? Will nothing work? A stock car is gonna kill me :yuck:

True story.
Dont rush into mods.
Your car would most likely use the Harness B. As for DP's, it all vary's. Im running the 5". Its fantastic. Great sound from it, but I doubt there is much difference at all in terms of performance.

Unfortunately you going to pay to play...if you are in a position to disregard the possibility of loosing mp then go right ahead, if not then be warned there is no dealer out there that will be friendly enough when the kak hits the fan...

Dealers are highly on the look out for tuned x35s since it's giving the flagship m3 a bad name, such a bad name they having M only runs to bolster support...lol...

It's not only that the mods are not there at time of being brought into the dealership, it's also the evidence that there was tampering...
