Some good people still around - my good news story for 2016

So on Christmas eve, I popped round to the shops to buy some goodies, reverse parked my car in the far corner away from other people...

Came back about an hour later, got in my car and proceeded to drive away when I noticed a piece of paper under my wiper, I was going to flick it away when I noticed it was handwritten, intrigued. I stopped and got out to read it.

It said something to this effect.

'I am sorry I bumped the front of your car, here is my name and phone number please call me'

Long story short, this woman turned out to be an absolute god send. She went to the police station reported it, gave me all her details, insurance details, couldn't stop apologising... all this within 2 hours of the incident on Christmas eve!

Naturally I was upset at my baby's first bloody nose but I wasn't angry.

It restored a bit of faith in humanity that there are still honest decent people out there, I have heard so many stories of parking lot incidents where people just drive off or leave fake details etc..

Damage isn't too bad, she hit just below the headlight washer system, deep scratch and the bumper has been dented, stress cracks evident.

I am getting a brand new bumper from the ARC btw. so no more stone chips :=):
