Personally I would not spend money on changing wheels and such on a 320i Auto, it will just make the car slower than it already is. Rather just keep the car well maintained it will be money better spent.

my personal story.....i upgraded from 17 to 18, and later i needed a black wheel, but I could not afford the hustle once again to look for a black 18 wheel that i would like, so i went on to dip my wheels and I applied a coat of matt clear on top. to me it was cost effective, all depends on one's needs I suppose.

Spray the wheels black dammit, it is going to cost you 400 bucks and you save for the new rims.

I sprayed mine(2 cans all four wheels) just to see what black would look like and left them like that, this was about a year ago.

Save up for it. Rather get a nice wheel that will really compliment your car. don't waste money now on making your current wheel look worse (sorry, my 2c).
Get a wheel that is not too heavy that will hamper your car's performance.
We all love to give our cars that personal touch, no matter if its a performance monster or a sedate driver.

Those wheels you posted on the original post will look very bad if plasti dipped or painted black, save your time and money and wait till you get something like this, So you can paint them to look like the one below it!
