Software Dilemma!!

Hey guys! I've got a problem on my hands.Ok so im finally ready to do software on my car.I've contacted just about all of the sponsors and some other tuners. The difficult thing is making a decision since all of the tuners have really good software packages available with all very similar power figures.Prices differ a bit but im not here to promote or put down any tuner so we'l leave that out of the equation.I drive an 07' 335 coup with an auto box.Im not looking to drag or track the car, just need some more juice out of the car to do the odd highway run or robot to robot with the big boys if you know what i mean :) so i was thinking of software,dp's and an exhaust to follow.Any advice, thoughts, opinions, experiences with the different tuners will be highly appreciated..

P.S I know this topic has been discussed on various older threads,i just feel that software is constantly changing as tuners keep striving to push the boundary to achieve the best for our cars! so thumbs up to all the tuners out there for doing what you do:thumbs:

Hi there bud !difficult decision in front of you ,there's a lot of good software for the N54 out their at the moment ,I would say go for a proven tuner ,someone who's actually putting the figures down on paper instead of people claiming this and that , wish you best of luck

Hey bud,

Best Advice is to ask guys that have the products on their cars.

Ie john has mielie pap software so he can give good insight

Things to look at when choosing a tuner:

Power Gains
Reliability of the car
Tunability of the map provided
Does the tuner log/dyno?
after sale service
Price

Pm me and Ill let you know my preference and why. I dont want to start a tuner war on an open forum

Well I'm very happy with the Jb4 and it's ease to change settings. When adding other mods the settings are available with a click of steering wheel button. It's been safe and I'm pushing a 259 kw and 529 nm ( zeemax dyno)- also it's a DIY to put on and take off. Also the power gains I'm quoting is on map1, there are 7 maps. There are added fun bits where you can set your fuel gauge as a boost Gage and your hazards as change lights.

Overall I'm happy, hope this helps. I sourced mine from revo at renz.
