She can surely be saved, but she has to go to Alcoholics Anonymous first ;-)

I had a identical knock on my e 90 a few years back 80k damage it was fixed no problem I just hsd to wait for a quater pannel from Germany as the ones here where not long enough so the body could not be marked and cut and nothing else could be done untill the part was here I waited nearly 2 months then it was 100%

Repairable,

RR Fender Replacement for sure there

Estimated at about 80k

Thats just cosmetic though, can easily be repaired.

Its once there is structural damage, that the car is never the same....

But that RR Panel is literally spot welded and glued on....

Looks like a write off. If th te damage is more than half of the repair bill then yes. Besides , the wheel looks like it's taken a hit, number , rear light , alloy suspension rear quarter panel and door .

If it's in your best interest- tell insurance you don't want it back and get yourself into an F30.
It worked for me

Sorry to hear bud.

Panels looks fixable, did she scrape past from the rear as it does look like your rear wheel moved a bit forward?

Really hope you can save her

Hey guys,

Here's an update:

1. Cop's are still investigating the matter and couldn't give me much info.

2. Vehicle has been assessed, awaiting to see what the outcome is.

3. Tried contacting the driver and he family members. The phone just rings so handed over to the lawyers.

4. Although I would love to tell them to put me into a F30 I can't. I know you guys may feel strongly against it but I am bot insured.

It's a religious belief and was instilled in me from small. Whatever is meant to happen will happen. God is the best of planners.

5. Trying to attach the cctv footage but not working.

I think this is going to be a expensive lesson then ,I would get some insurance in the future ,lawywers may win but if they have no money a garnishing order for a few hundred bucks a month will not put you back in a e90

Sorry to hear about your loss. As stated above, expensive school fees. For the peace of mind that having insurance gives one, I cannot help but wonder why anyone would not have insurance.
