the worst part the crappy panelbeaters you get out there..... the car will never be the same again.

I'm taking the car to Auto Atlantic for an assessment and it'll be repaired by a BMW-approved panelbeater. I would never take the car elsewhere.

In the end, i am saying dont take for granted that they are approved and the work will be good, rather treat them like a panelbeater that has no approval and be extremely critical about their work.

Thanks I definitely will! I'm hoping to send my car in before they close up for the holidays.

So turns out the quote from the BMW Repair Centre is only valid for 30 days.

Went back in today to have a new assessment done and the assessor told me the left passenger door, left side skirt and front bumper are all being replaced.

Not sure if the rim will be repaired or replaced as of yet.

Also turns out the the other insurance company tried to make a claim against my insurance and pin the blame on me. Needless to say, Outsurance is now pursuing legal action against them.

I don't know how long it'll take before my car looks new again :thumbdo:
