The swap is done and everything sorted except the software. I need to remap the software and chip it.. Can anyone help me with this? Please? The car has a bit more power than it used to, but the 325i performance is under the covers. I need to get it out.

The car's fuel/air mixture is completely wrong

I have a 325i engine which I am buying from Gizmo

Using my car's ECU, getting it chipped, meaning slightly more power than standard 325i ECU. I think that is about it? My brain is tired :blab:

hope you have loads of fun with the "new" car!

Budler will swap the EPROM chip with a 325i one, flashed with a nice map on it too. Chiplogic will do the same thing. The 6cyl M54 ecu is the Siemens MS43, just the EPROM chip changes between the different capacity motors.

I must ask, how is the motor as I had never started it?

Any complications swapping electrics and parts over from the other motor?

Just had to buy a few parts that was missing from the engine. But other than that, all was good
