My friend and I decided to go and have a look. And I have to give a big :ty: to Luis Malou that brought this to my attention. This is a must for any petrol head. I really wish I had more time would have loved to have stayed longer. There were just about everything you could think of when it comes to classics.

So here are a couple of pics I took before my camera went Bang. (looks like when Kodak USA went belly up... my camera followed. In its makers foot steps.

And here are some non BMW

But some were real lookers

I took more pics but for some reason these are the only ones that copied to the SD card. Time for a new camera me thinks. These couple of photos really doesn't show much. There where 100's of cars some really nice and others really k@k. But its really worth going again.

Thanks Henry for the pics. That must have been some show. Seeing a BMW 700 these days is a super rare sight, but seeing a Cord is like seeing God. Those cars are very rare, and very expensive.

That Cord was incredible! Only 5 left in the country according to the owner.
Poor turn out of BMWs compared to the Merc stand, but some lovely cars none the less.

Thanx it was allot of fun. There were some really interesting cars there.

Even a old Bugatti race car worth plenty, its one of the missing photos ( hate my camera at the moment)

Next year I'm spending the whole day there.

Thanks Henry..
There were some amazing cars.. loved the Alfa's, although nice to look at HEADACHE to own but still sexy machines.

And would mind taking a Lancia Integrale home.......

BMW turnout was'nt too bad, had a little of everything, we just don't have enough oldies to show -off. Next year we WANT everyone with old BMW's at the show..Hopefully I will have finished one of my 2002's or even my 1600 to take with.

JUST TO ADD..

Hope next year they have some food, drink and ice-cream stalls. What a pain to get food. I know its called a picnic, but very few people take food along and just want to buy something especially visitors. Had to drive to the PnP just to get drinks through all the traffic although we did take food with.

Will have the BMW club bring it up with the organizers.

Cool, was looking for you on the day. But no worries it was my blue e24 which I parked there aswell. Colin said I had to since there was a small turn out from BMW.

Your car looks really good congrats its really nice to see some of the oldies still out there.

If you have any pics of the day please ad.

ps: was it Antony's e34 that was parked there?
We will have to make a proper plan for next years one.

I have a BMW 700, but in dire need of restoration. I believe that the one on show belongs to a guy called Paul Perreira. Anyone have his number or email? I am trying to get hold of him for help with my car. His is just macnificent!
