I think we need to have an exclusive 328i event to compare various mods and results :fencelook:

That's a great idea, whe should hook up at a 'Private Testing Facility' and compare mods and see how they compare. What mods have you done to your car?

I just did my 3.46 diff swap. Its just impossible to keep the fuel consumption down.I just can't get enough of that surge of acceleration.I also just fitted M50 Intake and 3ltr M3 Branches with Free flow exhaust. These simple mods really wake these 328's up especially with a chip.

awesome man! hahaha damn i want a 3.46 diff! hows does the car feel after the m50 mani?

Hey Guetzer, its difficult to say cause I removed my 325 engine and fitted a 328.Before I fitted the 328 I fitted the M50 manifold,3.46 diff and M3 branches and finished it off with a chip. That combination feels pretty good.Next up is rebuilding the Vanos and cams would be nice.

Guetzer, you need to try the 3.46

You kids need to stop worrying about getting a LS diff, most of you including me, dont even know how to drive an open diff to its limit.
I agree. ALMOST saw my arse a few times showing off

Yes, the easiest is to swap in a 3.38 diff that came in all the 330i auto's. You could also swap in a 3.46 diff that came on the 325i autos however that requires a bit more work.

In work you mean change the input and output flanges with the 330i ones.
I have a good condition 3.46:1 here if interested.

Indeed....however changing the input flange could lead to a lot of work if the pre-load was not done right

That's unfair. I think you should invite the M50's aswell so we can show you guys what a real motor is all about.....without all these silly mods....
