Twinz, how much are the Resonators?
Cheers!

Not selling them. Any good reputable exhaust shop especially (Powerflow) can do this modification for you using their own resonators but you must tell them what you want and how you want it done.

If you go to Powerflow in Bellville they will advise you on the options....they know me well and quite a few fanatics hang out there.

Many thanks Twinz. I had a Free Flow system fitted there on my wife's car a few months back. They did a great job.:thumbs:

When I did my E46 M3, powerflo just hollowed out the existing CAT housings. Sounded a lot better and there wasnt too much rasp.

Twinz - which will make it sound more low & bassy?
2 x long and small diameter resonators, or 2 x short and as-big-diameter-as-you-can-fit resonator in there?
Would an x pipe get rid of the rasp?

The X pipe on dual systems are meant to increase velocity and torque across the range as opposed to an H pipe which is more for low down torque but could be very restrictive if not constructed correctly.

This is a pretty good thread worth bumping, will help with the decision making with some of the new forumites.
