SMG OR MANUAL

I am looking at getting a 02 or 03 M3 . I like the manual
root. Whats the pro and con s?? There will be out of motor
plan , what are some of the problems and costs involved
in getting and older M3? I have found a clean black 2002
88km manual FSH. R230 Is that about rite or a bit much?

Personally, I would stick to manual, as there are a lot less problems reported with regards to the manual box.

out of motorplan, i'd say go with the manual. If you're buying older than 03" make sure the rod bearing recall has been done. Other than that check history, PPI, overspray, etc. And your good to go!

You most probably looking at a car with no motorplan... safest option would be the manual.
