sluggish performance

Hi Everyone

I have a 02 318ti with 107 000km. What I'd like to know is if any of you have experienced a sluggish pull away with these cars? There's a brief pause before if 'launches' ocasionally. Sometimes it drives fantastically, and then other times it's sluggish and no one (taken it to a few places and paid for nothing basically) is able to tell me why.

I bought one for my wife 2 weeks ago , i noticed the same thing , there is a solution however :

Get into the car , turn the key to the ON position BUT dont start the car , wait for 10 seconds , then turn the key to the OFF position for 10 seconds.

now start the car , this will reset the driver settings , take the car for a nice HARD drive and your issue will be solved , if you wanna launch turn the ASC off

Just be sure to warm up the engine properly before the nice HARD drive
