Definitely not double doubles.. m cars only.. people will be like this guy trying to make his 3 series look like m3..

And it will be i promise you..

Anyway my suggestion would be to go bigger diameter but keep it single on each side..:coolShake:

Haha yes, probably.

Maybe i shouldn't mention that I'm thinking of fitting the M3 style bumper :tiptoe: Im taking inspiration from Firi's E90 with.. I think its the 1M bumper. It looks so dang good.

Its tough because on the one hand it looks awesome as hell, and modding is fun. But on the other hand it can come across as being a poser. I love the look of the M3 bumper and dual double tip.. but is it really worth the judgement from others? :roflol: who knows.

But actually I'm leaning towards the dual single tips for now anyway

I was considering this on my previous F30 before I traded it

2 big singles. 2 doubles are for the M's

and singles are for 335i. Doing this for a better looking bum, not to try imitate an M or something. Besides, doubles that far apart are very different to the M3 look, completely different looking back.
Think 2 90mm or 101mm singles would look awesome. You'll also probably find that the X35 guys will be less hung up over a non x35 joining their fraternity

Not sure which F30 and mods you have but even with the single double, you should have the power to match otherwise guys will run you and claim to have have beaten a 335. This isn't an issue if you make more power than a 335 though.

Thanks for your opinion, but this is honestly the conversation I'm hoping to avoid.

I'll say it again, I dont like the single pea shooter. The M-sport should have at least come with the single-pipe double tip. I plan on keeping this car for a long time, and I want to think "damn thats sexy" when I open my garage in the mornings, not "lame exhaust".
I'm really not the kind of person that could be arsed about people trying to "run" me. With my JB4 attached, my car has a perfectly fun amount of power for me, and thats honestly all I care about. The rest is all just cosmetic mods because they're fun to do and I can get the car to look the way I want.
Now enough of that.

After some thinking, the double-pipe, double-tips are out. It does look cool, but I agree with others, possibly douche-ey. So now I'm between the singly double tips, and the dual single tips.

My reply was not intended to offend you, I was just stating what many are thinking and what I have seen with other cars made to look like something they arent.

It's your car at the end of the day so what I and others say is irrelevant, however asking for an opinion on a public forum will get you just that.

No offence taken man, I've just seen how these threads can be derailed by heading in this direction. If its what many are thinking, then you probably didnt need to state it. The opinions I was asking was on one choice or another, nothing more than that to be honest. There have been no "others" yet to try and move the topic that route, only you.

A single double like the 328i, but with bigger tips.

This gets my vote, if you want you can get a slightly larger diameter tail piece. Or even the LCI double tailpipe does not look bad

Tough choice man :smashScreen:

I was all for single on each side until I saw the double doubles.....

But then I blocked out the one side of the double double, and the single double like the 328i does suit the car well.

So that gets my vote, the single double like the 328i :coolShake:

Good luck and keep us posted after you install which ever.....
