Singing noise behind dash/cubby

Hi Gents,

I drive an e46 M3 and for some reason when the vehicle is hot there is like a singing noise coming from behind the cubby.

I somehow suspect a bad relay somewhere there.

Has anyone experienced this and whats the best way to find out what it is??

A) Take cubby off and wait for the sound to come and use a stethoscope and check relays?

B) Assume fuel pump relay

C) Take it somewhere and get screwed over.(Not an option but I needed a 3rd one. lol )

Yeah, I saw that thread. I think I'm just gonna have to pull the cubby off and wait for the noise and pin point it the old school way. lol
