I'll take photos.

THe "lobes" are no longer round, you can see/feel how they've been carved away and now are straight.

Hard to explain as I'm not as Engine savy as some people on here, but when comparing the exhaust Cam to another Cam that was not worn, you can see the difference/feel the difference. Same thing for the Rockers.

Ok. Jezebel is back from SAVSPEED and I gotta say wow. Thank you Sav and team for the awesome work.

No more tappet sound. For some of you who did not read before, Jezebel had a ticking noise coming from the engine, after some research I discovered that it was most likely (in 90% of the cases) the shims that needed to be replaced.

So I took it to SavSpeed who promptly opened her up, and discovered not only were the shims off, but the exhaust cam was worn. So, Burgy organized me a new exhaust cam and 24 new rockers. Sav installed them, replaced the shims, as well as the oil filter and did a full oil service.

Jezebel sounds great now. No more ticking noise. Man, it was irritating the shit out of me.

So happy face. Been driving her now and man she's awesome.

Need to take her for a Dyno to see what we pushing. I have this negative side to me that always thinks I am going to lose power when someone touches my car. It's like I have this little ninja in the back of my head saying "since Sav changed the exhaust Cam, you have lost some horses."

Ha ha... I'm sure most people feel that way. So glad that noise is gone, now I can supercharge her with peace of mind.

I blame the long weekend, as SAV had no staff to work on all the cars that friday.

Oh well...

The shim replacement and fitting the new Cam and Rockers was R3300 from Sav Speed. That is labour.

The new Cam and 24 rockers was R7000 from Budler.
