Congrats on the car and on doing the trip in one go. She is a real attention getter. I'll also be one of those taking pics like the attendants. No need to rush the charge, just soak it all up for now

Got some pics from the trip down to Cape Town and coming back up with Jezebel.

On the plane, LONGEST FLIGHT OF MY LIFE, heading down to Cape Town to pick up Jezebel.

I DID IT... I bought my first M3.

In the drivers seat, preparing for a long ass drive up to Jozi.

Midway back, Dene decides she is some sort of Rebel freedom fighter from the post apocalyptic age, while I'm just enjoying cruise control.

Jezebel getting all her fluids checked and topped up for the drive up to JHB.

Sunset over CAPE TOWN. Her last night in the mother city.

Why did you have a painters mask?

Dene is a bit of a health freak. And when Matt explained to her that the cats had been deleted on the car, and that they no longer stop dirty Co2 fumes, she freaked out and thought she was about to be poisoned on the trip back. She made me stop at a Builders warehouse and buy her that mask so she could breathe. HAHAHAHA

well it has 50kw more and a shorter ratio so huge difference

Compared to Jezebel in Cape Town, the difference is actually 100kw more.

Jezebel does 251 kw on the wheels in Cape Town, and 370 nm torque.

323i sc did 156kw on the wheels and 303nm torque, but that was up here at the reef. But bare in mind, the SC 323i had 0.4 bar bolt on SC with NO MODS. Still stock exhaust, still Cats, still restrictive intake. The car was bone stock except for the bolt on charger.

That being said, I will need to take Jezebel to Ross and get a dyno reading with 0% ambient correction, as that is what he Dyno's at to see the true reflection of what the car makes.

I'm guessing I've lost about 40kw by bringing her up to JHB... maybe more, so... Moranor is probably right about it being 50kw more.

But, to answer the question, its lightyears different. Jezebel is on the power instantly and will outrun that supercharged 323i of mine in no time. The video where I lash the Seat Cupra, which is running 180kw (on the fly), is the same Cupra I beat in my 323i by only a car length from pull off. Where as in Jezebel, you saw it was lightpoles. Charger was great, really brought the 323i alive, I could outrun 330i's, STOCK Golf GTI's, and maybe catch the odd M3 owner who wasn't awake, but it would never compare to Jezebel. WOW.

was actually thinking of the 323sc flywheel kw :fencelook: but it seems to have worked out ok :roflol:

you should dyno the M3 on the same dyno as you did the 323 :)
