This is my set up now... Quite chuffed with it. Just need another HDMI cable for the screen on the left. Got the gaming Chair on a takealot daily deal. Super chuffed with it and it should be a great boost for my CS:GO skills :roflol:.

Specs are as follows:

Intel Core i7 3930k currently at it's stock clock. Need some better cooling before I OC...
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX960
1x 256GB SSD (System Drive)
An assortment of normal hard drives totaling about 4TB of storage space
I have a Steelseries Rival 700 resting on a Steelseries QCK Heavy Mousemat
Logitech G430 Headset
Corsair Strafe Mechanical Keyboard
The main monitor is a Samsung S27E390H which I got for a steal off Carbonite

Quite happy with the build now... Just some liquid cooling for the CPU and I'll be done for a while :fencelook:

That's a very cool looking case! and Chair!

So here is how the setup looks during the day with the new couch etc. Going for a minimalist approach.

The monitor is epic, but i cant think much gaming can be done on it?

It's probably the most epic gaming monitor I have ever used. Also it has a few different modes that really bring gaming to life, The HDR function is insane a game like Mass effect Andomedia is just crazy when you set it to HDR with a monitor that supports it, the colours are so beautiful and crisp, the contrast ratios are something you have to see to understand.

Then it has game console mode where you can put screen smoothing on, seriously makes it feel like a game running at 30fps is running at 200fps.
You can set it to PC mode where the input lag goes very low, 5ms or so and its exactly the same as a normal computer monitor, most of the screen settings become unavailable in this mode.

But as far as gaming itself on this monitor its a really awesome experience, the Curvature makes it seem like your seeing a bit of the screen in your peripherals so you get a feeling of being engulfed in the game. Will open Doom and take a pic and show you guys. :)

The beauty of an HDR display is shown here, the sun is directly shining on this display yet its still perfectly visible and usable. My previous display was completely unusable at this time of day with the sun shinning in this room.

It looks a little laggy here and thats due to the cellphone video not keeping up with the frame rate of the game lol. But this is what its like gaming on this thing. :)

P.S I suck when sitting on the floor trying to play so that I don't get my head in the way lol.

Going through this thread... asking myself am I poor lol, these are some very serious equipment you guys have.

I'm sure we can do some serious bitcoin mining with all them juicy graphics cards.

Never been a serious gamer, play Xbox here and there but just never have the time to devote to gaming.
