Guys- a mate of mine says that SA doesn't have V power yet?is this the case .
Also,do you think that different brands make a difference as we have supermarkets selling fuel as well with one offering 99 octane.
5th gear tried an tested this on a gti nd Subaru as well as a normal non performance car.
There was a noticeable 5ish bhp increase in the performance cars.
I believe down south ( London way) there are shells offering 102 out the pumps. Damn Londoners get all the good stuff.
It's marketed at car enthusiasts with hight performance cars.i believe it's in the region of R40 ltr- yikes

Possibly for track days and hill climbs.... I once went to the BP depot in Dbn and bought a 20lt 105 oct for that dude who has that fast GSi in Dbn, we, talking some 20 years back now... My jettas head was done and I had some pinging and he recommended it.so I got him some for his weekend hill limb and mine. Very nice stuff that. Only used it once

We have to pay a premium for 104 Unleaded (R600) for a 20liter drum and 109 Unleaded goes for just shy of R1,000

The 109 is brilliant for the car. But we running e95 ethanol now and some pay (R9 a Liter). This is potent stuff. My car feels slugish without it.
