...it's just the price of Sasol fuel is :argh:

Bud, where are you based?

Sasol on Jan Smuts (the one with the Mintys Wheel n Tyre), has their diesel at very low pricing, very very low all the time....go check it out:thumbs:

Sasol and Caltex seem to offer the most affordable rates in my area, and no issues when using them

602km going under 3/4 with this shell bs it's worse than I thought.. I honestly feel cheated as car feels the same power wise and I am not driving any differently to what I usually do.. stay away..

As i said guys beware the dealerships that are expensive. If anyone is in the Vaal Triangle region the Sasol garage in Risiville sell their 50ppm at cost on mondays and thursdays. This in effect means you get 50ppm at 500ppm prices!!! :bravo:
The owner says this is to pump up volumes to get better discount from Sasol. Good business move i would suggest.
If the opening exists on the Sasol side speak to you local dealer and try and get him to do the same deal.
Some people just need a push in the right direction.

Price isn't relevant because the price of diesel is not regulated. The owner of the filling station decides what he wants as a markup.
Diesel drivers beware i have found a difference of up to 70c per litre and thats for the same brand!!!:nonono:
I have tried all the brands and i am sticking to Totals 50ppm. My 330dppk just feels more responsive and only with this brand does the car see 4.7l/100. With Shell v nitro i could not get better than 5,1l/100.

i have found the same thing. Total diesel is good.
