servicing with mods

hi guys anyone with a modded m135 i taken their car for a service yet ? wanna mod mine but keep hearing bmw can pick up any mod , anyone with any advise ?

all mods should be removed before taking it in... still a small chance they may pick something up if they go digging but you are relatively safe as long as they see nothing that makes them go digging

Should be fine just make sure it's all bolt on. No welding and so on.

If you can remove yourself, then it's safe.

On my E82 135i, I was meant to take it to Sandton Auto as the head tech there knows the work done by Sportech.

I took mine to Auto Bavaria where I bought it (with the modded ecu) and told my sales guy what had been done to it - they had no problem servicing it and didn't affect the mplan at all.

I've heard of late however, they've become a lot more strict and hence the mods that are removable or allow you to restore to orig. pre service are the ones to go for
