Hi All,

I bought a 2005 318i about a year ago which has around 95000km's on the clock and no problems from my knowledge.

The dashboard is indicating "Oil Service in 1200km". Can anyone explain to me what kind of service this is and the estimate of what it might cost?

This is my first time taking the car for service and I don't know much about cars so I don't want to get ripped off...

I am from Durban but needed to come to JHB for work so I need to get this service done here. Any suggestions on bmw specialists etc?

I hear BMW is running a deal on out of motorplan cars, 600 bucks for an oil change.

Maybe call the dealer and find out if its running in KZN.

Yeah I really think take BMW up on the Service special. Depending on where in JHB you will be just choose a good dealer! I recommend JSN but that depends where you will be :coolShake:
