Service Transmission Oil and Drivetrain check soon warning

Hi Guys.

Started up my S/O's Mini Cooper this afternoon and immediately got a message saying "Service transmission oil required" and immediately after that a orange triangle saying "Drivetrain. Check soon." It's a 2018 F56 with 80k on the clock. Standard 1.5 mini.

I thought transmission oil is lifetime oil.

Any idea what I can do to have these messages cleared or do I need to go into the dealership for this issue ( my last resort tbh).?

Lifetime is simply how long BMW thought they could get away with it and not have to do a warranty claim.

Have it serviced.
