hey fellow fanatics,

Been a while since iv posted, my car still has 4 service lights but i like to try and keep the car in top notch so i will be doing a DIY service as i am capable of doing it, ehat i would need to know is the spark plug number i phone BMW they quoted me R1100 for the ngk PCR....ect i was wondering if the dcpr8evx would work with the 3.2L? also they quoted me R750 for the petrol and fuel filter, now i know those are probably the best parts for the car but i can get a GUD petrol and fuel filter for about R200 and the ngk's for R115 each which would save me a hell of a lot of money over the agents, i would like to know if this is ok to do or do i have to stick to orginal? obviously the car will be going afterwards for a tune and reset of service light at zeemax afterwards, but just need some light shed on the service parts.

Thanks:=):

I have always heard that plugs from the dealers are the best, and have stuck to that, but maybe someone that use another can assist you better here.

Fuel filter GUD should be fine, as their standards are high, and they supply many manufacturers, but just under the manufacturers branding. Oil filter go the same way.
