Service history on a car

This is a question following on from another thread i just read , Didn't want to Hijack it .

Anyway if I take my car to a BMW dealer , im told that I would be able to print out its service history , Now I have serviced and repaired my car at three dealerships both on and off motorplan, Will I need to go to all three dealerships to have a complete service history printed out or does BMW keep a complete history of the car no matter where the car was serviced or repaired while on and off motorplan?

Someone once told me that motor-plan service history can be printed out anywhere , but after that the individual dealerships keep their own records so I need to go to all three dealers and have it printed.

Thanks guys for all responses!

If I understand you're question right..
All bmw dealerships are interlinked and any one of them would be able to give you a full report on any bmw

From what I know:
Motorplan history is available at any dealership.

However, after motorplan, you have to go to that particular dealership where the car was serviced to get the invoices of the services.

some years ago I took my 1 series to a dealership soon after I just bought it, it had +/-165000km, the dealership printed me a copy from 0-99000km only , I was told to visit the dealership that carried services done after that. I didn't care too much as book was stamped and signed after mplan.
