Service After Motor Plan

Hi All,


my car just got out of the motor plan with just an extra 1000 Km's and it started to give me the engine malfunction warning took it to BMW to have alook now they want R10,500 to fix it, is the a 1500 km grace period after motor plan expires and should i be expecting to pay this much going forward?
