Serpentine Belt Cooper S

Hi guys,my belt snapped on sat took it away and after 5km's of driving it snapped again. I sent it back to the place and they called me now to say the car runs for about a minute then the belt snaps :slap: they have taken the pulleys off checked then against another Mini pulleys and all looks well they are completed baffled can anybody assist me with this issue?

Locked up power steering pump, altenator, water pump (although you would hear that)

Could be that they have put too much tension on one of the accessories, and the belt is too tight... but this is odd...

Im thinking maybe the spring tension is finished but wudnt they be able to see tht?

Hi Guys, yip got the issue all sorted out after like 6 belts :shocked:

It was the crank pulley that needed to be replaced so I got a nice ALTA lightend 0% pulley :thumbsup: but once it was fitted the belt was still snapping..........then after lots of headacres with the mackie I stayed there and watch them fit the belt and did proper testing before leaving the workshop. Long story short,when they removed all my pulleys to check them they didnt realign the supercharger pulley correctly so the belt was running off the supercharger pulley.....so after lots of testing and checking we managed to get the SC pulley aligned with the other pulleys and all is well now :thumbsup:

Car is running awesome with the new crank pulley on :clap:
