Max, the seat twist only happens on electric seats! What size torx is it? 12? Rick helped me with mine, but Murphey's law I have another twist on the passenger seat height adjustment, but have left it as the seat never really has to go up or down.

Greg, mine are electric seats :rollsmile: unless you guys are talking about some other electric seat :mmm: Oh, I think my ones just older so maybe some revisions were made on yours.

I was talking about the sport seats. I have no idea if the normal seats work the same. The sport seats has a motor just below your knees and then a cable comes out on each side of the motor. Each cable then goes to a little gearbox on the side of the seat. So when the motor turns, the cables spin the gearboxes and the back moves.

The problem comes in when the plastic around the cable expands so much that the cable inside disconnects it self from the motor. You then need to pull it apart, cut about 10mm of the plastic away and put it all together. There are a few other steps involved, but picks is needed to explain that. I actually have a few... should maybe do a writeup.

Mine are the same too. Two motors under your knees. The front one does the up and down of the base. The one behind that does the tilt of the base. Then there are 2 motors under your bum. the one does the forward and back of the base and the other does the tilt of the backrest. then there is one more in the back rest which drives the head rest up and down.
