satnav MKIII / 4:3 OS upgrade

I was looking at all the nice splash screens on the net and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the MK3 unit with the 4:3 screen to also have a splash screen? My current version is 3-1/30.

Also, will a MK4 system work on the 4:3 screen or do I need to upgrade to the wide screen if I fit the MK4 ? Will love the MK4 but not the DIY type that can do all the mods and strip everything to fit the new harness.
