I remember many years ago, I had just seen a client at the Naval base on the Saturday mornig an was on my way back, when I saw the commotion at the airstrip.
I first drove past and then turned around and went to have a look.... what an experience!
Can't remember that I paid to get in... but wow I spend about 3hours there.

There were these two "older toppies" (I am one now) with their similar Cobra's who would just wipe the track.... until an even "older toppie" which I am sure was a local rocked up with his Nissan Skyline (circular rear-lights) and he just smoked everyone!!!

The motorbikes were mindblowing and I vaguely remember some salesman from some dealership blowing the engine on some brand new model car... can't remember what make (Alzheimers Light) but can remember the smoke and oil and that the car was just launched on our market.

Families were camping and braaiing down the side of the track.

It looked like great fun....
