Sad day for Big Blue

A Sad day



Dad was driving to the shops this morning and an “idiot” in a White Bakkie; jumped the stop sign, and slammed into Big blue.
Dad is Okay !!!!
Cars can be replaced not people!

Turns out, bakkie’s owner has not paid the insurance for months and brother was driving, with NO LICENCE!



Does not look to bad
Front end is bent and pushed over to the right, and steer system is broken/jammed, tie rods snapped
Motor and gearbox ok






RIP Big Blue and thank you for all the fun memories and looking after Dad today.

Happier times

Wow dude, that line brought a tear to my eye. Sometimes we forget that BMW is more than sheer driving pleasure, its also keeping the ones we love safe!

BMW is solid for occupant safety. I saw a horrific crash along William Nicol (car hit the bridge sidewall and flipped) yet the occupant made it out in one piece.
