Perhaps this thread should be locked and harsh action taken?
The handbag swinging has become tiresome to watch and is not conducive to a positive change and outcome IMHO.
There are new people joining as we speak.
Theres no need for such nonsense to carry on. Seriously.
Alternatively, lets rent out a dodgy premises somewhere, arrange a few car guards, build a ring and throw down the bets. Whomever wins, wins but once the fight is done, its done.
I can arrange the bar. Sorry chaps, no VIP area, we are all equal and drink at the same level.

I had my say on my view of the Crash vs Fordkoppie saga, I never commented after that even though I was reading the thread. There was no other reason to get involved.
It was only when Fordkoppie decided to single out my comment that I chose to defend myself, and then your spidey senses started tingling and you chose to come here.

I've followed this thread since it was split from another thread the other day and I must say that it deteriorated very quickly. It turned into a pissing contest and the forum allowed it to carry on. I've since taken it upon myself to read the forum rules and I came across the following rule;
"8. Personal attacks, rudeness, flaming, baiting, insults to others, or arguments will not be tolerated. Challenge others’ points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully. Please refrain from making excessive negative comments. As the saying goes "If you have nothing nice to say then don't say it". "
I therefore humbly plea the admins/mods to exercise the rules and shut this thread down because it is in direct violation of the rule above.
It is very demoralizing to say the least for a forum that we all love to be part of, to be lowered to this standard. I had hoped that by now this thread would be moderated and closed, but alas. Other members have even started other threads to try divert attention from "dick swinging" and move to a more positive note but still this thread appears.
Let's all take a moment sing "Kumbaya" and return to speaking about cars.
