run flat tyres

My E60 has a spare wheel.
Tiger Wheel says its ok to fit normal tyres on the wheels given that the car has a spare. My car is a 2005 so out of motorplan.
Any strong views AGAINST fitting regular tyres?

I fitted normal Michelin tyres and they are so much quieter and softer than the Bridgestone run flat tyres i replaced.
Very satisfied so far.

I don't use RFT on my car either.

Well, 5 Series out of motorplan with a spare tyre, then no brainer to ditch the RFT's! :thumbs:

But in my case with the E90 not having a proper spare tyre a bit limiting - I do have a space-saver though, so could do this if necessary, but to be honest I am perfectly happy with the RFT's on my car...
