Driving with the doors, roof etc. off is pretty cool. A diesel Jeep - not so much. If I were to buy a Rubicon I’d get the 3.6l petrol. The amount of money you spend on fuel will not be a patch on what you’d spend if a diesel Jeep starts going South.

Having owned a little 4x4 (Suzuki Samurai) before i got the E92, i can honestly say that modifying a 4x4 as compared to a car is A LOT more expensive, as you have Tyres, Spacers, Lifts, Gearing options for Transfer Case and Diffs, lighting, bumpers, safety options,
It gets Hella Expensivebut at he end of the day, the amount of fun i had was worth it lol.
Check out the hellcat convertion for the JK .. 6.2lt hemi ... the saving has started !yush1 said:FerdiBotha said:individj said:i actually drive in my friends Jeep pretty often..spacers..blacked out with metal front bumper...occasional off roading but looks nice..diesel as well. i live at the coast & i think its cool to drive it with the doors off at the beach...with ladies
