The radiator neck on the top broke and all my liquid gone

I cut the car as soon as it happened but I hope its not fried.

At least now I will be upgrading to an aluminium performance radiator lol

Nice, i like these kind of builds.... Would love to get me an ugly ass duckling also lol

The coilovers look great. you happy with them? Been thinking of getting them for my M3 since i need to replace the entire suspension there... Everything is old and worn out.

So officially I am broke lol

Got my new radiator today...

Its a full Ally one. Not the best one but for the price its great and I also got a 16" fan to compliment the setup, plan is to get it running off the ignition bypassing the switch as this car wont be used as a weekender or daily but as a HOONING machine.

Don't have it run all the time, use a thermostat switch as there are several reasons why cars use thermostat switches. You will burn the fan motor out pretty quick if it runs all the time, plus the noise will drive you insane!

Hey Captain.

Is that their off the shelf radiators, or is it specific for your car?

I am asking because I need a new radiator on my build, and for an extra R800 bucks, I could get one of those bad boys.

You running a 325, am I correct? If so, and your piping connects to the radiator, then it should work well. Please let me know, and perhaps snap a pic of the installed part.

Thanks Bud

Just use a 318is switch, it has the right temp, right plug and right fitting already.

Hi G

Do you know what the part number is ?

Thanks

Yip I got a 325i, and its off the shelf as for the install probably the next few weeks as I need to get my car to my parents place to work on as my complex frowns upon it lol

By the way I found a cheaper place that sells exactly the same radiator. PM me for details.

I also imported new silicone hoses to compliment it

Swirled valves
m54b30 bottom end
Balanced crank
328i e46 crank scrapper
Baffled sump
ACL Bearings
Hastings Rings
ARP Rod kit
ARP Head stud kit

Basically my plan is to to prepare the motor for a turbo setup and The only thing I will need to do once I am ready for turbo is to replace the HG with .140 MLS to lower the comp

For suspention I am 95% complete with all the parts that I have bought, just need them installed

If anyone is interested I will post the rest of the parts on order and what I have
