Roadworthy JHB North

Evening all,

After a very length rebuild and refresh my car is about be ready to go back on the road but my insurance company want a roadworthy certificate before they will reinstate insurance.

I have heard horror stories of cars being unnecessarily failed for financial gain and want to avoid any potential issues - I don't expect the car to fail as it is sound.

I will have to have the car transported by flatbed as I can't risk an accident without insurance so don't want to travel too far afield.

I am based in Kyalami, Midrand.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

There is Dekra at Midrand motor city. I usually go to 1st class motor inspections in Randjespark they alot cheaper but take cash coz the card machine is never working, don't expect world class service, they get the job done though.

The Dekra mentioned above is your best bet. If it does fail, you can come back within a certain amount of time without having to pay again (I've never had one fail before though)
