Road rage reaction

Driving peak hour through Booysens twice a day will give you patience for taxi's lawlessness, every single taxi does it so you expect every taxi to do it and eventually learn to live with it...:thumbdo:

I best not comment but will anyway.
He will eventually write that taxi off and the dumb s*** passengers who condone he's road behavior will die too. And good ****ing riddance to them

the only way i get through traffic is similar to what Gizmo mentioned above.., i drive expecting every taxi to cut in, go through a red robot, pull over whenever etc.

When you are expecting the action, your reaction seems to less intense. I get more of a 'damn i'm good, you f#%kers are so predictable' feeling. :roflol:

still trying to teach my wife this though....:nonono:

+1. The passengers are just as guilty.

I often lose my cool with taxi drivers. Sometimes I mimic cocking a gun to show them not to mess with me. Sadly, it's a stupid & irresponsible action. I've also seen a motorist get PK'd by a taxi driver after motorist gave the taxi driver the finger (obviously, the taxi driver was at fault in the first place). It's just not worth losing your cool with them. Plus, you never know which taxi driver is packing. Prolly most of them.

Strangely, I see just as many private motorists driving badly as I do taxis - more actually, especially here in the Western Cape. Taxis understand merge-in-turn, they know how roundabouts work, and they don't turn right across intersections where there is no right turn. The taxis zooming up the yellow lane are annoying, but it's not worth my while to get annoyed or cause a ruckus over such actions.

I still think bus drivers are worse than taxi drivers. Perhaps it's more that I expect a taxi to just pull over anywhere. Atleast they don't block the 'whole' road. Or it might be the fact that I just simply don't like buses

If someone flips me off, especially if I'm in front of them and they try their best to get alongside me, I just stick my tongue out at them......makes him feel like an idiot. I always gooi hazards to the guy behind if he hoots at me or if I know I 'mistakingly' caught on kak

Have to disagree I've had a taxi force me either onto the oncoming traffic or to force me behind him. After I already let a car merging join and then this dick head comes hauling up the left lane which has to merge with the right and forces me out. I hooted and gave him the finger. Dude didn't so much as look at me. But on the other hand I've had a big ass SUV merge from the far left lane which is merging onto a dual caridge highway (m3) and just hook it straight across. I had to slam on brakes in my poor little polo to the point it almost stalled in the fast lane.

today again ... two blonde bimbos in their twenties driving like total twats on the hway in a grey 320d BMW ... cut me off while i was doing 140kph in the fast line ... with some traffic on the highway ... wtf!!!!

and they had a baby in the back seat of their car (which i saw after) ... certainly not theirs as they looked too young ... but maybe it is ... with trailer park trash these days, you never know

i lost my cool ... boxed them in, and i called them "hoes" ... wrong of me ... but farq it ... im sick of people driving like total twats ... and they did look like strippers esp the driver with those massive pink lips ... only strippers adorn makeup like that

rant over

i so need some "wooooza" treatment ... im becoming an angry person these days ...

maybe its this golf ... it just asks for people to bully me on the road ...

I found that with my previous car, the Jetta mk3, I was a lot more agro on the roads when someone would cut me off or something. In the BMW I tend to let even the most heinous acts slide, which would have caused me to go on a rampage if I still had the Jetta.

I guess I just feel safer in the 5er with ABS and airbags etc whereas the Jetta wasn't a very safe car, so I think I don't feel as threatened as I did before. If someone had to cut in front of me and then suddenly slam on the brakes, the BMW would keep me in much better shape than the Jetta if there was a collision and I think that's why I was never really hesitant to give the one at fault a piece of my mind. It was a threat to my life, so to speak.

Friend of mine hooted for a douche in a 7 series that almost hit her car in a parking lot and then the ass got out and stated hitting her cars windows. His hand prints are all over the car. I don't understand why ppl get pissed off when they in the wrong. I'm getting agro just sitting here typing this now.
