Road rage Mirror broken

Hi,

can anyone help?

Having had a busy day yesterday, minding my own business, using indicators and stopped at the stop streets, so all according to the book. Next thing I know a white "shity" Golf with 4 youngsters stopped right in front of me, me still thinking that they want to ask for directions. But before I knew what was happening all of them got out, 1 girl and 3 guys. One guy and the girl stood behind their car so I couldn't get the registration number. The third one tried to hit me through the window whilst the fourth one had a go at my drivers side rear view mirror. They only disappeared after another car came around the bend. I'm positive they came from Theresapark, O'Hagans after they had a Kareoke there. Apparently the kids get quite drunk and cause a lot of fights. Maybe the police should do a raid on them.


Anyway, now i'm in need of a mirror for a E46 2004 model driver side, can anyone help? Colour is silver grey metallic. It's only the black plastic piece over the hinge and the mirror itslef broken. Can one get those 2 items loose?

That is just not on. I would probably jam the girl and 1 guy between both car and then climb out and bliksem the other two

Did I tell you guys I have a very short fuse when it comes to people doing stupid things on the road. I hit a taxi driver once for clipping the passenger side mirror when he was passing me on the dirt road

That's the whole story, was minding my own business when I went home. As I turned off the main road the Golf was behind me, didn't see him before that. I went down the road and stopped at 2 stops and all the time they were right up my cars backside, it was around 10.30 pm and I thought why are they in such a hurry? So after the second stop i turned left, this is when they overtook and forced me off. Still don't know what their problem was.

BTW, I am not calm, I was fuming and :cursin: , I only stay 1 minute away from where it occured. When I got home I was pretty shocked to say the least.

At the time I thought of getting out of the car, but 3 guys and me on my own? Didn't make sense. Would have aggravated the situation, plus you never know if one of those idiots carries a gun

I would have driven in to the ppl standing in front of your car. Reversed, then done it again. Dam dude, I would have been locked up for my actions.

I didn't do anything that I know off. I'm normally a very considerate driver. Like said, the pub nearby hosts a Kareoke every Wednesday night, and there were fights quite often. I asume those youngsters went there for the night. I will try and find out from the owner if he knows them. If I can get hold of them I will lay charges. That's for sure.

How did you not get their number. I follow my attackers until I can get a clear view or even a pic of their plate and then I drive away. You cannot be arrested for following a car.

Tried to follow, but they turned into another road which forks and both roads curve, didn't see any light movement. They must have switched their headlights off. I'm sure they stay in the area or dropped a friend off. It is actually a ring road with one road in between connecting one side to another.
It never crossed my mind to use my car as a weapon, luv my BMW too much to have it dented.

Get a few friends and wait at the same spot again and again and maybe you get lucky by there dumbness and they come by again. Then you do what they did to you but with a baseball bat, personaly im more partial to a 7 iron:cursin:

This is a clear case of why alcohol and driving do not go together. But then again it depends alot on the person/people doing the drinking. I have to be honest, if that happened to me, i would probably go ballistic.

Maybe they got angry because you were driving a BMW and they were in a shitty golf :dunno:

If there wasn't any provocation on your part, must've been a hate crime? The fact that the chick in the car played along and they stood in front of the plate, and they disappeared with lights off makes it seem that they do it quite often as a group. Any unique features on the car?

see if you can identify the car, or I will even go with you into O'hagans and you can see if you identify them.
