I had a look at this. Certain epoxies can be used, but definitely NO heat options (like ceramic) for obvious reasons :) This is a delicate process and more than often don't end in a well looking product :(

Look through the forum for a thread about Carbon badges - it was a few days ago and apparently it's better to deal with them via email since you can avoid the UK VAT - postage shouldn't be too expensive since this isn't a very heavy or large item...

You should not pay more than 5 pounds for postage. I replaced the boot, bonnet and 4 wheel badges on my E36 M3 to the carbon fibre type and got the whole lot delivered to me for about R650. Was from another UK based supplier.
