Restoring 1994 E36 318i Automatic

Hi guys. I recently bought a E36 318i Automatic. I live in the Cape Town area and am looking to restore this puppy and keep it for a few years. First thing I want to do is replace all the rubbers around the doors, windows, and boot. Anyone know of a place that does it?

Hey mate, I have jut done this exercise with my E36 M3, had to get door rubbers from the states as he agents wanted R11k for them :argh:

Therest, windscreen moldings, weather strips etc the agents were ok for! Keep an eye on EBay for he spares you need or Ty find a "donor" vehicle at a breakers yard! Check out my thread for more info

Heres some pics of my car. Its in good condition body wise. Some minor rust on the front of the bonnet and a small scrape on the roof. Probably from a garage door.

So I sent my car off to the mechanic last week. Got it back yesterday after R4300 later. And there are still a few things that need to be done mechanically. The valve for the heater is a minor one, but in winter, i really want it working! And I need a light switch. The lights go on to dims but never reach the normal beam. Gotta hit up the scrap yards this weekend. Also gonna check for my rubbers. I found a guy who does master keys in Cape Town, he said he can do it for about R1000 in total. Thats with coding and cutting. I'm pretty happy about that :thumbs:
