Reseting itself every time I start her.

I just bought a mini for my wife and it is a brilliant little car. It is a 2006 na mini Cooper.

But whenever I want to start the car it will only start the second time after it has reset everything. The speedo makes a noise and it resets itself to 0km and the clock.

Then also having issues with the rear sunroof as doesn't flip open, what could this be.

If anyone is or had the same issues it would help to share info.

Ok so it was the battery that was on its way out

Ya I was about to say its your battery... had the same issues with my BMW when the battery was on its way out.
