Replacing pollen filter on E36

Is there anybody out there that can assist please. I just got this car, a 1998 323 I but the fan hardly gets any air blown through the system. I:bangdesk: believe this pollen filter must be blocked. Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is this filter and how do I remove and replace it?

Hello and welcome to the forum

The pollen filter is in the cabin of the car. It is accessed on the driver's side. Its under the steering wheel. There should be 3 screws if I am correct.

The filter is located in the side of the heater box, behind the centre of the dash. You access it by removing the lower dash panel on the drivers side (a few screws. You have to unclip this duct by pulling off a couple of plastic clips with pliers.
