Replacing door panel clips

So my door panel is a little loose and it rattles when i'm driving on a less than smooth road. I'm guessing, no wait it's a BMW, i'm hoping it's just the panel clips that are broken. Replacing the clips is fine it's the whole side airbag that is the issue.

Has anybody done this before? I know to disconnect the battery and let it sit for a while before even attempting to dismantle around the airbag but still it is an explosive device.

If it's anything like taking off the steering wheel, then yes, disconnect the battery and voila. Freerider and myself did it not so long ago, and it was actually a piece of cake.

So after an hour or so i can unplug it and i'll be fine?

Anything i should know before hand?

15 minutes was sufficient in our case.
