Rendered: the original 6-series Gran Coupe

Let's imagine for a moment that BMW decided back in the day to create a 4 door 6-series. I was bored this morning so I did a quick rendering of what the lovechild between an E63 and E65 might have looked like

Lol, which is exactly what it is, but the 6'ers nose is proportionally in line with the 7'ers dimensions

You inspired me to take it to the next level so I re-sculpted the roofline, added the 6ers rear quarter, re-shaped the doors

as a fan of the current generation 6 series GC, i cant say that i am a fan of what is predecessor would have looked like.

But then, thats just my opinion.
Good photoshop skills though.

I rate the roof line would be way more slanted then it will look more coupe-ish

Problem with raking the roof too low would be headroom. It would look out of proportion.

My next photoshop experiment will be a f01 convertible

Did not stop them with the x6, I don't fit in the rear of first gen x6.

I was lazy to do color correction today so I opted for mono instead. F01 front and rear on F12 body, with M6 lower front

Did a quick one with the F01 nose on the F15 body. Kind looks like an X1 TBH...

Sheesh, demanding much? Lol, ok I have lengthened the rear by about 20% and added a render of the upcoming G11 to the front

You're getting there but now the back is sloping like an X6 and the boot itself needs to be a bit longer (see side window by boot).
