Regarding Anal Ignorant People & the S54

I hear some absolute hogwash about our gains & so on from uninformed halfwits.

OK so forget the dyno's, forget all the bull. Here's video's of 2 M3's running 5 days apart on the same track. Ary ran on Sunday during the day, the other M3 ran Friday night in less than 10 deg ambients.

Bear in mind the exit speeds go up 3-5km/h at night for an M3. Traps much higher at night.

Both cars have decatt, only difference is software. The SMG in the video had 3 runs all trapping exactly the same at 158km/h. Which is in line with a stock E46 trapping around 155km/h up here during the day.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="

Our car trapped 166km/h, during the day. Can't hide from the traps.

So now, what's the story? Rigged or what? I'm hearing bullsh1t stories about the gains not being real or whatever, when we have the owner of the car here. I hear you can reset some values with BMW tools and the car can gain 24hp but it loses it over time. What carp is that? No-one reset anything. The cars were tuned and run the times everywhere.

Next point. Yanks can't gain those gains. So no-one can. Who gives a flying fvck what te Yanks gain? We gaining more than them. Even on the C63's me & Mo have been working on recently, the gains are more than the Yanks. Our V10's run faster than yanks. Our manual E9x M3's run the same times as the fastest manual M3's. If they can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done.

But here is the real killer. Yanks have a different spec M3 to us. Due to the strict emission laws in California, they have to have primary catts integrated into the branches. Huge restriction in the most important part of the exhaust.

US Spec branch:

ODM0NTNfcA==.png

Euro spec branch:

ODM0NTRfcA==.png

So what do the Yanks do? They sell the Euro spec branch as an aftermarket mod. So the branch we get as standard on our cars, they sell in the US as a mod. Evosport, for example:

evo_s54header_001.jpg

And they getting like 30whp on the wheels fitting our headers on their cars!

evo_s54header_dyno1.jpg

So now, can anyone tell me why the Yanks can't gain what we are getting? Can one tune a car with 2 ovens in the branches? Those catts are retaining heat causing ignition retard. And they are restrictive.

European spec cars don't have catts in the branches and hence have a much free-er flowing, cooler running system & the tuning we do is not hindered by their setbacks.

So the moral of the story, is don't go comparing what gains we get to the Yanks as they have a different goddam car to us.

We are gaining on the dyno & the road. And that is the truth. We shall continue to prove it.

Sherwin, i think (some) of your threads are becoming more and more despicable. :dunno:

From one forum sponsor to another....there is no need to carry on a vendetta against ANILE (Oscar). All your threads seem to bear some point or challenge to Anile even though he did not comment on that particular thread.

You can posts all the great achievements of Xcede as you wish but why always gunning one particular individual - by this i am not saying that Anile has not done the same to you - but clearly he has withdrawn from unneccessarily causing aggravation; as the forum members asked him to; yet you still persist.

And yes, there are excellent products from the US (Yanks) as you call them. The "BMWfanatics forum" are searched and googled by people all over the world and there is no need to inundate it, with zenophobic references like "yanks" this and that. Rennzport has a strong affinity and partnership with our USA-BMW tuning counterparts and will always refer to them with respect and due regard.

We import high quality products from California and the USA ranging from exhaust systems, wheels, tunes and almost any conceivable car accessory available on the market; which can be found through highly reputable USA tuners & manufacturers, which would put most South African tuning shops to shame.

Of course, South African tuners and manufacturers are also producing car products of note and these are exported to the rest of the world. Our own BMW plant @ Roslyn being such an example.

My point is that we value Xcedes contribution to the forum i.e. technical knowledge and motorsport achievements. But surely you can do and say all the things you want to say, with consideration, for those that do live in the real world.

13.8 for decat and software only is mofo strong! I spent over 40k to get to those times! Nice!
The SMG has a disability on the launch though! the SMG is almost 0.4s slower on 60ft than the manual!

The car running during the day in the 2nd video is my car!
I ran 13.7 @ 166kmh @ Tarlton in about 24Deg-28Deg temps! (Exede S/W & decat only)

If I'm not mistaken M3_SMG ran 13.8 @ tarlton with his SMG (exede s/w & Decat) (he should be on the forum somewhere)

Awesome bud.. your car is strong! SMG will not run a 13.8 in the 24-28deg..
you will chow the shit out of him on launch! he does not have adjustable launch control and i launch on different revs on different tracks and track temperatures to get all the traction the track has to offer! Nice bud i would love to have a go against your car.. never raced a proper strong 4 pipe! There is a 4pipe with Decat and Xcede software in town but i rape his car bad!

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, he ran that 13.8 @ night....(Not 100% sure)
Tarlton is very tricky and times are much slower than other tracks, about 0.2-0.4 seconds....
So, to be in the 13's @ Tarlton is an awesome achievement for me & Exede esp trapping those exit speeds...

For sure bro, we have to meet up sometime soon!

Bud your car is hauling! I see you change to 4th just just just before the line! A 3.91 ratio diff will do wonders to your 1/4mile times! im in 4th about 90-100m before the line with the short diff! and the 3.91 with the 18'' wheels will still keep your revs low on 120km/h and you will still get around 280km/h!

I would have to agree with major. Sherwin i dont know you but of what i've heard your innovative tuning speaks for itself, dont worry about people.

By the way i must say i'm a fan of your blistering times

Thanks for your concern, but you do not have the facts. He is PM'ing me & my customers & making threats. Then he says our gains are not real & you can show a gain on a dyno by pressing some buttons on a BMW GT1 machine or something.

Again, who cares? If he's taking it to private messages, why aren't you? You're coming out again with the antagonistic title Regarding Anal Ignorant People & the S54 to bring him out again, and then what, shoot him down when he retaliates? You get enough praise from the people who do believe your results and methods to get there, why get hung up and focus all your attention on the one, single, isolated person who doesn't?

How about this. Both of you stop this BS completely, on and offline. Invite Oscar to one of your runs, in person, and call it off when he sees the results for himself. If he persists, then he's an idiot, and if you persist, you have an itty bitty penis.

Major, you are 100% correct. I hang my head in shame! I should not give him the time of day. I apologise.

On to work, on the dyno right now with an E46 M3.

ah come on...

I thought this is going to get more interesting then that, you are all just scared of my 730d with a Picanto in the boot... :)

Good call there Sherwin, let him have his moment, and as long as you can back up your claims, dont bother...

Have fun tuning that E46, man I wish I had your job, wanna swap :)

Anal, let's forget about this drama & get this thread on track with some useful discussion for the community. What is your opinion on the US spec cars with the CATTS in the branches. You think maybe there's a slight possibility that that may cause tuners not to get the gains they want? Any chance they can't run the timing they want with thaty restriction? Let's discuss.
